How to protect yourself

To help prevent the spread of all types of respiratory illnesses, including influenza:

Patients with:

  1. Recent travel to Europe (especially Italy), Iran, Korea or China in the past 14 days    OR
  2. Close contact or exposure to confirmed case of COVID19

These patients have risk factors for COVID19 and they need to:

If you have the RISK FACTORS ABOVE and you develop symptoms of COVID19 (fever, cough, difficulty breathing):

Patients who do not have risk factors for COVID19 and/or have only mild symptoms of respiratory illness or cold, do not need to be seen at ER. 

Telephone Prescription Renewal Fees

Due to concerns regarding COVID19 our Clinic will be temporarily suspending the $20 fee for telephone prescription renewals for patients of any age with multiple complex health conditions. 

We will, however, continue to use our discretion as per requirements of the College of Physicians and Surgeons as to which prescriptions we can renew without a patient assessment in the interests of patient safety and well being.  Please ask your pharmacy to fax us a list of the medications you require.

Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN)

Our office is working to set up the ability to do medical assessments through the Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN).  From the comfort of your own home or from your internet-enabled mobile phone we will be able to have a medical assessment.  This service is only covered by OHIP for those who are enrolled in our Family Health Organization medical practice with the Ministry of Health.

After Hours Clinic

If you are unable to get in to see Dr. Khan during regular business hours, Family Health Organization (FHO) enrolled patients can take advantage of visiting the After Hours Clinic at the following location:

Brantford General Hospital D-Wing, Ambulatory Care

Monday to Friday 5pm to 8pm, and Saturday and Sunday 10:00am to 1:00pm. Outside these hours please visit your nearest emergency department or the Willett Urgent Care clinic. Do not visit clinics other than these.

Please DO NOT visit walk-in clinics during business hours - call our office and we will try to squeeze you in.
